RUMPLESTILTSKIN will be the openingshow at ZOEM! New Dutch Theater in New York. We'll perform on the 6th & 7th & 8th of January at the New Victory Theater on Broadway. Almost all shows are already sold out! We'll also perform for schools.
In May RUMPLESTILTSKIN will also play at the Imaginate Festival on the 8th & 9th of May in Edinburgh, Schotland.
Esmiralda is the daughter of a rich miller. She was given a cello for her ninth birthday and plays it so beautifully that all the farmers’ sons from the village fall in love with her. But her father wants someone for her who is more than a farmer. And when he meets a prince by chance, he tells him that the apple of his eye can spin straw into gold. Poor Esmeralda spins until her sweet little fingers bleed, tears streaming down onto the straw thread. When finally she gets help from an unexpected appearance, she promises him her first baby to thank him.

For the third time Hans van den Boom has adapted a fairy tale especially for children. After Bianca en de Jager (Bianca and the hunter, Snow White) and Joris en de Draak (George and the dragon) now comes Repelsteeltje (No-one knows, no-one knows).
